Armenian delegation takes part in Annual Conference of the  International Association of Women Police in Chicago

ArmInfo. The delegation of the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia took part in the Annual Conference of the International Association of Women Police (IAWP) in Chicago.

As reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, the visit took place on September 1-5 with the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the US Embassy in Yerevan.

The Conference of the International Association of Women Police is the world's largest conference of female police officers and representatives of other sectors of criminal justice, and Armenia participated in this event for the first time. Renowned educators gave thematic presentations, discussions and seminars were held aimed at enhancing the role of women, promoting women's involvement in the police and leadership.

The Armenian delegation had the opportunity to get acquainted with the experience of other countries and present information on law enforcement activities in the Republic of Armenia.
