Reason behind Malaika Arora's father Anil Mehta committing suicide hidden in his missing diary?

Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora lost their father yesterday (September 11). It was a shocking news for the entire entertainment industry. Malaika's father, Anil Mehta reportedly committed suicide by jumping off from his balcony and Mumbai Police were at the suicide scene yesterday to investigate. According to Mumbai police, the death of Anil Mehta appears to be suicide prima facie. The post-mortem is being done and things can be clear only after the police investigation is done. Malaika was reportedly in Pune when this happened and she immediately rushed to her mother's residence in Bandra.

Malaika Arora's ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, Salim Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and others were also spotted at her mother's residence yesterday to offer condolences. The police are deeply investigating in this matter. They have not found any suicide note at their residence.

Anil Mehta maintained a diary?

Anil Mehta's wife was present in the flat when he committed suicide. A resident of the same building saw Anil Mehta falling off the sixth floor. The police took the witness' statement and checked the CCTV footage. Now, a new development has come up in this case.

As per Navbharat times, the police sources have said that Anil Mehta used to write his day's activities in a diary. Hence, they are looking for that diary, so that he may have mentioned some things related to suicide in it. Police hopes that the diary might open up more about what had happened.

Malaika was seen exiting her mother's house last night. She was accompanied by Arjun Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Kareena, Karisma and Terrance Lewis. Her son, Arhaan Khan was also with her. Malaika penned down a note yesterday after her father's demise.

She wrote, "We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by this loss and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishes during this difficult time. We appreciate your understanding, support and respect. With gratitude, Joyce, Malaika, Amrita, Shakeel, Arhaan, Azaan, Rayaan, Casper, AXL, Duffy and Buddy'." This is a big story in entertainment news.

The post mortem reports will come soon and the last rites will be held in Santacruz today.
