Varun Sood reflects on the dream start of 'Call Me Bae' and the love for his character Prince [Exclusive]

Varun Sood's portrayal of Prince in the web show Call Me Bae alongside Ananya Panday has been met with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Reflecting on the response since its launch, Varun shared, "This has been a dream start. Everyone has loved the show and each and every character in it. A lot of critics and netizens spoke about my character Prince in particular as to how beautifully I portrayed him."

For Varun, Call Me Bae marks his third fiction project this year, showcasing his range as an actor. He expressed his excitement about how fans have embraced the new avatar: "They have seen me in 2 different avatars before, and this was completely different. I'm happy people are loving my work."

When asked about the outpouring of messages and calls from fans, Varun couldn't hide his joy. "It's so special. When the shoot of the show ended, everyone used to come and tell me from the cast and crew that Prince is their favourite. Getting the same response from people is incredibly special."
