Opposition MPs banned from access to last revisions of Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty - MP
ArmInfo.A number of MPs from the opposition faction of the National Assembly were allowed to familiarize themselves with the 7th and 8th editions of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, but after a negative reaction from Baku, access was closed. This was stated on September 10 in parliament by MP of the Hayastan faction Artur Khachatryan during the discussion of the bill on the introduction of administrative punishment for improper storage of state secrets.
"Four 4 MPs from the opposition applied and received permission to familiarize themselves with the text of the so-called peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, then there was a fuss in Azerbaijan that the opposition revanchists were allowed to familiarize themselves with this information, and we were forbidden to do so>, - said Artur Khachatryan.
He asked Deputy Director of the National Security Service Andranik Simonyan whether there was any regulation governing these legal relations. , - the deputy said.
In response, the deputy director of the NSS only pointed out that the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, in essence, regulates legal relations concerning access to information containing state secrets.
