Armenian MPs raise problems of Armenians forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh at meeting with Danish counterparts
ArmInfo. On September 6, the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan and the Deputy Chair Meri Galstyan met with delegation led by the Danish MP Sjurdur Skaale.
Welcoming the guests, Arman Yeghoyan highlighted the development of the Armenian-Danish parliamentary cooperation.
Speaking about the Armenia-European Union deepening interaction, the Committee Chair valued the Danish experience in that process. Reference was also made to the effective implementation of the RA-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, the parliamentary oversight on it.
The NA deputies voiced the problems of the Armenians forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh requiring priority resolution, emphasized the support of the international partners and organizations in their settlement. The Deputy Chair of the Committee Meri Galstyan drew the guests' attention to the issue of preservation of historical-cultural heritage of Nagorno Karabakh.
