Andranik Kocharyan sees a good sign in Aliyev s statement
ArmInfo. The head of the National Assembly Defense and Security Committee and member of the ruling Civil Contract party faction Andranik Kocharyan did not answer journalists' question about whether Baku was demanding that a clause be included in the peace treaty regarding the application of restrictions to the RA army.
On September 6, in a conversation with journalists, Kocharyan mentioned that he had a lack of time, "as important guests are awaiting him and this concerns the security of our country." He only briefly touched on the statement made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who claimed that 80% of the peace treaty text with Armenia had already been agreed upon. "This means that we are close to a peace treaty and must continue along this path. I can only state this. The sooner we sign the treaty, the better. Of course, there will be people who say that this agreement will not solve any problems, but I will respond that this agreement offers a prospect for achieving peace," Andranik Kocharyan emphasized.
