Anushka Sharma admits she and Virat Kohli are not 'perfect parents'; 'There is so much pressure...'
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are now parents of two. In February 2024, Anushka Sharma delivered a baby boy. The happy named their son Akaay. Virat and Anushka were already blessed with a baby girl whom they named Vamika. Now they are a happy family of four. For sometime now, Anushka Sharma stayed in London. There were rumours that Anushka an Virat are planning to move to the UK with their kids. But for an event, Anushka Sharma flew down to India.
After a long time, Anushka Sharma made a public appearance as she was the special guest at Slurrp Farm's YES Moms & Dads event. The Chakda Xpress actress spoke at length about motherhood, parenthood and everything related to her kids Vamika and Akaay. She accepted that she and Virat Kohli are not perfect parents and they do make mistakes too. The actress stated that they are not perfect and they do complain about things and it is okay to admit it to kids. She added, "So they know that you are flawed. Imagine kids having to live up to, 'Oh my parents are like this'. So owning your mistakes makes (it easier)." Anushka further elaborated on how her social life has changed after having kids. She shared that she can only hang out with people who follow the routine just like her. She mentioned that people invite for dinner but then she is confused as they may be eating a snack at the time when Anushka, Virat eat their dinner. "Some day, occasionally you have to let it go, otherwise people will hate you," she added. Her thoughts about parenthood and more have made headlines on entertainment news.
Anushka Sharma also spoke about teaching good values to her kids and mentioned that her daughter Vamika is too young for it. She shared that the little one has picked up on how her parents show gratitude to others in daily life. Anushka believes that the kids need to see gratitude and they will follow.
