The list of highest tax-paying celebrity of 2024 is out. Shah Rukh Khan is said to have paid Rs 92 crore as tax. He had a fantastic year with his movies like Jawan, Pathaan and Dunki performing fabulously well at the box office. Jawan and Pathaan even managed to cross the Rs 1000 crore mark at the box office. And now, he is topping the tax-payers list. Some of the other names on this list include South as well as Bollywood stars. After Shah Rukh Khan, the second name on the list is that of Thalapathy Vijay as per a list shared by The Fortune India. The actor whose magnum-opus Greatest of All Time has released in theatres today reportedly paid a tax of Rs 80 crore. He had a good very with Leo that released in October 2023 doing well at the box office. The third name on the list is of Salman Khan. He is said to have paid the tax of Rs 75 crore. Fourth on the list is veteran star Amitabh Bachchan. He who delivered a massive hit in the form of Kalki 2898 AD is said to have paid Rs 71 crore. He is currently hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati 16. Cricketer Virat Kohli has slipped to fifth spot as he paid a tax of Rs 66 crore. Ajay Devgn has taken up the sixth spot by paying a tax of Rs 42 crore. Another cricketer on this list is MS Dhoni. He who is a part of many brand endorsements is said to have paid Rs 38 crore tax. Ranbir Kapoor who delivered a massive hit in the form of Animal paid a tax of Rs 36 crore. Hrithik Roshan and Sachin Tendulkar paid a tax of Rs 28 crore.
