Yerevan to host International Festival of Symphony Orchestras

ArmInfo.On the initiative of the capital's municipality, the International Festival of Symphony Orchestras will start in Yerevan on September 17, which will be held in our country for the first time.
Famous musicians, soloists and orchestras from Armenia and abroad will perform within the framework of the festival.
In particular, according to the information of the press service of the municipality, from September 17 to 24, the festival is expected to feature the performance of the Youth Symphony Orchestra "Yerevan" (Yerevan Municipality), the National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra and Choir of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. Spendiaryan, the Academic Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Orchestra "Academy" of the Italian La Scala Theater.
The concerts will start at 20:00 in the park named after O. Tumanyan (Ajapnyak administrative district). Admission is free.
