YEREVAN, August 29. /ARKA/. The Armenian Ministry of Defense has once again dismissed Azerbaijan's claims of gunfire along the border, marking the second such denial within 24 hours./pp

The statement from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, alleging that Armenian forces opened fire on Azerbaijani positions in the southwestern part of the border zone on August 28 at around 18:30, is not true, the Armenian defense ministry stated./pp

The ministry also reminded that the Armenian Prime Minister's Office has proposed the establishment of a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism to investigate ceasefire violations or related reports. However, Azerbaijan has yet to respond to this proposal./p br br
