Aston Martin Vanquish to Be Revealed on September 2
Aston Martin has announced the launch date for its new V12 grand tourer, the Vanquish, which will be revealed on September 2, 2024. This model is set to succeed the DBS as Aston Martin’s flagship grand tourer (GT).
Design: A Blend of Tradition and Modernity
The Vanquish is expected to combine traditional Aston Martin design elements with modern influences, particularly from the Valour. The front profile may feature a more muscular design, with an integrated grille and sculpted hood; some reports suggest Vanquish will feature the largest front grille ever on an Aston Martin, while the rear is anticipated to have a flat fascia along with square quad exhausts and a spoiler.
Powertrain: A New V12 Engine
The Vanquish will be powered by a new twin-turbocharged V12 engine. This engine includes a reinforced cylinder block and conrods, redesigned cylinder heads with reprofiled camshafts, and newly engineered intake and exhaust ports. These changes result in an output of 824 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, with a top speed limited to 214 mph.
The upcoming reveal is expected to provide a closer look at the design and technical details of the new Aston Martin Vanquish.
