The Prosecutor General`s Office of Armenia believes that the property of the former head of SCPEC is subject to confiscation

Former Chairman of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC), Artak Shaboyan, and his family members were invited to the Department for Confiscation of Property of Illegal Origin of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia on August 23 to review the materials of the investigation regarding their property and to state their position. Azdarar reports that, Shaboyan's wife, Kristine Yeghiazaryan, mother, Marietta Manukyan and daughter, Ani Shaboyan were also summoned to the prosecutor's office. It was noted, that as a result of the investigation into Shaboyan's property, a report was compiled indicating that the property registered in his name is subject to confiscation. Recall that Shaboyan served as the Chairman of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition from 2010 to 2019.
