Belarusian president severely critical of Armenia

ArmInfo. President of Belarus
Alexander Lukashenko once again criticized Armenia for its political vector.

Thus, in an interview with the Rossiya TV channel, touching upon Armenia, he assured that he has not paid attention to the policy pursued by the Armenian authorities today for a long time.

"Well, do you see what kind of policy Armenia is pursuing? I don't even want to talk about it and I don't pay attention to it, but what kind of policy is this? Well, who needs Armenians except us? No one. Let them develop their economy and focus on what they have. What France or Macron? Tomorrow Macron will be gone, and everyone will forget about this Armenia," Lukashenko said.

At the same time, he noted that Moscow and Minsk are allies who are in the "same boat" and if it capsizes, both will perish. In this context, he noted that Belarus is not starting to prevaricate like some post-Soviet countries that seek to benefit from Russia without offering anything in return. According to him, this cannot continue, and we need to be together.

"Let's be together. The time is not far off when you will have to turn to Russia for help and support. There will be no one to help. In the event of a crisis, as it was in Kazakhstan, everyone turns to Putin for help.  And we (the CSTO - ed.) responded quickly, sending forces there and calming the unrest," he noted.

The Belarusian leader also noted that through joint efforts, a common economic space between the post- Soviet countries was more or less created.

"Let's develop this space. Why lose it? Who is waiting for goods from Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan in America or the EU? No one is waiting. They are trying to send all the surplus to Russia. We have a common market, why lose it," Lukashenko added.
