The trailer of Call Me Bae starring Ananya Panday was released on Tuesday. The series marks Ananya's OTT series debut wherein she is seen playing the role of a South Delhi girl who tries to live the bougie life in Mumbai. Her character meets with a tragedy when her husband seemingly loses their money and she is forced to survive in a house which has a leaking roof, travel by auto and also has to find a job for her living. She gets hired in a newsroom with Vir Das who is the boss of the company. The series showcases Ananya's struggles and also focuses on her survival skills.
