Kawasaki Eliminator 500 Unveils New Color Options
Kawasaki has injected new life into the Eliminator 500 with a trio of fresh color options, exclusively for the European market. The standard model now comes draped in either Metallic Flat Spark Black or Pearl Robotic White, while the SE variant boasts a sophisticated Metallic Carbon Gray/Flat Ebony finish.
While Indian enthusiasts eagerly await a similar color palette expansion, Kawasaki has yet to make an official announcement. Currently, the domestic market offers the Eliminator 500 in a single colorway, priced at Rs 5.62 lakh (ex-showroom).
Classic Cruiser with Modern Amenities
Powered by a 451cc parallel-twin engine producing 44bhp, the Eliminator 500 blends traditional cruiser aesthetics with contemporary features. Its low-slung profile, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and flat handlebars evoke a retro charm, while modern elements like LED lighting and a digital instrument cluster keep it relevant.
Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and twin rear shocks, ensuring a comfortable ride. Braking performance is entrusted to single discs at both ends, aided by dual-channel ABS. The bike rolls on 18-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels, wrapped in grippy rubber.
Kawasaki’s ergo-fit system allows riders to tailor the riding position to their preference, enhancing comfort and control. With a ground clearance of 150mm and a seat height of 735mm, the Eliminator 500 is accessible to riders of varying heights.
Competing in the Mid-Weight Cruiser Segment
The Eliminator 500 finds itself amidst growing competition in the sub-500cc cruiser segment. It directly rivals the recently launched BSA Goldstar 650 and the established Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.
