Twinkle Khanna, a well-known author and columnist, has written several popular books and often shares her thoughts in long blogs on various websites. She is the daughter of legendary actors Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia. Rajesh Khanna, often referred to as the first superstar of Indian cinema, was a major figure in the 1970s, and his stardom was such that his fans would go to any lengths for him.
As reported by the Times of India, in a viral video, Twinkle Khanna was asked if she would consider writing a biography about Rajesh Khanna. The former actress responded by saying she has no interest in writing a book on her father. The actress explained that she prefers stories with deeper layers and meaningful messages instead of just one person. Her response sparked discussions, with some understanding how difficult it might be for a daughter to reveal everything about her father's life. The author said, "It is great to write a story about a single person, but for that, there has to be layers, and their stories need to have a message."
News18 reported that in the past, people had asked late actor Rajesh Khanna about writing his biography, but he declined. The Anand actor expressed his concern that writing an honest account of his life could reveal personal details about others, potentially causing them harm. Khanna said that people only know him from his movies and film magazines. Although he wanted them to know his other side, he wouldn't write a biography.
Meanwhile, Twinkle Khanna recently shared a strong reaction to the Kolkala Doctor Rape Case that has shaken the nation. In an Instagram post, she revealed how even after so many years, she has to tell her daughter Nitara the same things she was told as a kid to be safe, to not go out alone at night, to not trust stranger men, etc.
