Ex-MP calls on Armenia`s citizens to express attitude to Artsakh problem
ArmInfo. Former member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, political scientist Tevan Poghosyan called on the citizens of Armenia to visit the Artsakh representative office on September 2 and express their attitude to the Artsakh problem.
"A year ago, I addressed everyone with this appeal, I am doing the same today, and I will be very glad if more people join my appeal this year. We must prove to the world that Artsakh is real and we are obliged to restore it," the political scientist wrote on his Facebook account.
Poghosyan noted that Armenians have always had the opportunity to go to the Republic of Artsakh on September 2 and celebrate the holiday of free Artsakh there. There is not much hope for a repeat of this this year, if not to say that there is none at all. "But there is a representative office of the Republic of Artsakh in Yerevan. My appeal is the following: let us definitely visit the representative office of the Republic of Artsakh on September 2 to express our desire to keep Artsakh free and independent.
We do not need anyone's invitation, we can simply visit the mission at a convenient time and spend a few minutes there to express our support. You can take a photo, write something, say something, chat. I am sure that all the staff will be there. The President of the Republic of Artsakh, members of parliament and other current officials will also be there.
The press should also be there, because it would be appropriate to show the world that Artsakh is and will be for Armenians. I am sure that if all the visitors publish a photo of their visit on social networks, write something about it, then on September 2nd it will also spread throughout the world, and at least in this way we will voice the pain of our Artsakh brothers and sisters. Let's find these few minutes on September 2nd and visit Artsakh. Visit in groups, alone, however you like. Artsakh has always been able to unite, and I am sure that on that day it will unite us again. Artsakh needs all of us. I hope that on September 2, a stream of thousands of Armenians will flow to the representative office of the Republic of Artsakh (Yerevan, Nairi Zaryan 17 a/2), he wrote.
On September 2, 1991, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic was proclaimed.
