In a recent interview, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali who has worked with both, Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, revealed what's the major difference between the two actors.

Shah Rukh Khan teamed up with Imtiaz Ali for Jab Harry Met Sejal while Ranbir Kapoor collaborated with him for Rockstar. So in a recent interview with Mid-Day, Imtiaz Ali was asked how different are these two actors from each other. The filmmaker shared that they are very different from each other. In fact, he said that they are like chalk and cheese when it comes to personalities. Imtiaz Ali mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan is very charming, intelligent and kind. He added that SRK has the confidence to reach out to people and talk while Ranbir Kapoor is very 'inhibited'. They both are interested in people but Ranbir won't make the first move to approach and talk.

Talking about their filming process, Imtiaz Ali stated that Ranbir Kapoor lets himself go and is often unaware of reality when he is in the shot. He gets into his zone and is lost into the world. However, Shah Rukh Khan is not like that. The filmmaker mentioned that King Khan is very much aware and has got more knowledge of acting as he comes from theatre. But he also shared that Ranbir Kapoor is very instinctive and would know the script very well. He will read the script thoroughly even amidst his busy schedule and would be aware of it.
