Stree 2 box office collection day 3: Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor starrer mints HUGE on first Saturday; beats Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone's Fighter

Stree 2 is doing phenomenally well at the box office. The movie starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead has proved that Bollywood still has the power to draw audiences to the theatres. In 2024, a lot of Bollywood films struggled to make money at the box office. Only a few like Fighter and more, did good business. And now, in August, Stree 2 has taken the box office by storm. On the first day, Stree 2 made a staggering Rs 76.5 crore gross business. With its opening day collection, Stree 2 also managed to push out Ranbir Kapoor's Animal from the list if top 10 highest openers. It witnessed a little dip on first Friday given that it was a working day, however, the first Saturday once again proved to be a tsunami.

As per a report in entertainment news portal Sacnilk.com, Stree 2 made Rs 43.85 crore on first Saturday. It is HUGE! Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee have definitely delivered one of the biggest hits of 2024 with Stree 2. The total collection of the film by the end of day 3 now stands at Rs 135.55 crore. This is India Net Collection. The India Gross Collection is approximately Rs 163 core as per the report. Given that today is Sunday, the numbers are expected to be as huge as first Saturday, or may be even better. Stree 2 can easily make more than Rs 200 crore in first four days of its release.

Talking about day 3, Stree 2 has managed to beat the numbers of the biggie Fighter that starred Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in leading roles. Fighter made around Rs 27.6 crore at the box office on the first Saturday. Just like Stree 2, Fighter had released on a Thursday.

Stree 2 clashed with Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa at the box office. Khel Khel Mein stars Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk and more. Vedaa stars John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh in the leading roles. However, both the films have not managed to perform well in front of the mighty Stree 2. Both the films have managed to cross the mark of Rs 10 crore only after its third day of release. All the films have two more days to mint good money at the box office. Monday is a holiday for many on account of Raksha Bandhan.
