More than 21 thousand real estate transactions were concluded in Armenia in June

YEREVAN, 9 August. /ARKA/. Some 21,147 real estate deals were concluded in Armenia in June 2024 against 20,497 deals in May of the same year and 19,258 deals in June 2023, the National Statistical Committee reports./pp

The most transactions were concluded in Yerevan - 5,625 (26.6 per cent of the total), the least in Vayots Dzor region - 464 (2.2 per cent)./pp

Real estate alienation transactions prevailed - 6,811 (32.2 per cent of the total number), including 4,554 sale-purchase transactions, 1,982 donations and 44 exchanges./pp

At the same time, there were 4,580 transactions on primary registration (21.8% of the total number), 3,499 transactions on inheritance (16.5%), 3,097 transactions on pledge (14.6%), 1,948 transactions on re-registration (9.2%), 927 transactions on lease (4.4%) and 285 transactions on legalisation (1.3%)./pp

Of the total number of transactions, land transactions accounted for the largest number - 8,968 (42.4 per cent)./pp

In the reporting month of this year, there were also 4,796 transactions involving flats in apartment blocks (22.7%), 4,574 transactions involving residential buildings (21.6%), 1,510 transactions involving public buildings (7.2%), 911 transactions involving garages (4.3%) and 388 transactions involving industrial buildings (1.8%). -0-/p
