Armenian Tobacco Company launches cooperation with British Imperial Brands group

YEREVAN, August 8. /ARКА/. On August 8, Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan attended the official launch of cooperation between Armenian Tobacco Company (ATC) and Reemtsma Cigarettenfabriken GmbH, a member of the British Imperial Brands group, the ministry’s press service reported./pp

It said in 2024-2027 more than 13 billion drams are to be invested in ATC as a result of which 200 more jobs will be created in addition to current 70 ones./pp

ATC plans to produce two famous brands in Armenia./pp

Product quality control will be carried out by Imperial Brands, which is in the Fortune Global list of the world's 500 largest companies./pp

Armenian Tobacco Company, founded in 2017, produces tobacco products. Some 20% of the company's products are sold in Armenia, and 80% are exported. -0-/pp/pp nbsp;/p
