Armenia`s premier inspects implementation of programmes in Tavush
ArmInfo. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan left for a working visit to Tavush region to get acquainted with the implementation of state-funded programs in the region. This was reported by the press service of the government.
In particular, the Prime Minister's first stop was Dilijan, where repair work has been underway on the T-10- 34, /M-4/ - Mountainous Armenia sanatorium road since 2023 with state funds. The cost of the program is 234 million drams.
In Dilijan, the Prime Minister visited the Dilijan Geological Museum, where he got acquainted with the restored painting by Ivan Aivazovsky. It was noted that the initiative for the restoration of the latter belongs to the leadership of the National Gallery of Armenia, and the project was sponsored by a private individual.
Pashinyan also visited kindergarten #5, where repair work is underway. A total of 91 million drams were allocated for the implementation of this program, 61 million of which came from the state budget. The kindergarten will be ready to accept children in December 2024. Then the head of government got acquainted with the progress of the construction of a water pipeline in the Teghut settlement of the Dilijan community. The total volume of the subvention program is 288 million drams, 187 million of which comes from the government.
In Ijevan, the head of government was informed about the progress of the construction of the sewerage network, the construction of a hotel and restaurant complex, and new equipment for the Ijevan Wine and Brandy Factory, which was purchased under the state leasing program. The prime minister also got acquainted with the progress of asphalt paving of roads in Ijevan. The cost of the program is 129.6 million drams, of which 71.3 million is from the state budget. During the visit, the head of government was presented with the overhaul of a 35-kilometer section of the national highway H-36, /M-4/ (Ijevan) - Navur - Berd - Aygepar (Gandzakar-Itsakar section). The contractual cost of construction is 4.2 billion drams, the total length of the road is 35 km, including the construction of a new bridge across the Khakhum River. Completion of the work is scheduled for 2025.
The Prime Minister also got acquainted with the progress of the overhaul of the 26-kilometer section of the H-38 national highway, /H-30/-Ttujur-Navur-/H-36/. The cost of the project is 3.6 billion drams, the total length of the road is 26 km. The work is in the final stage.
Pashinyan also visited the Berd community, where he was presented with the progress of the subvention programs.
The head of government also presented private houses built within the framework of the state program to support housing affordability in border settlements. For this purpose, the state allocated 16 million drams to the beneficiaries of the program.
Then the Prime Minister got acquainted with the progress of asphalting the road of the Aygehovit settlement of the Ijevan community. The total cost of the subproject is 168 million drams, of which 92 million drams were allocated by the government.
