Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor who is happily married to actress Alia Bhatt recently recalled a troubling childhood memory when his parents, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor faced a hard time in their relationship. The chocolate boy of Bollywood revealed that he would sit on the staircase and listen to their arguments. As a baby, their fights would disturb him badly.

Ranbir Kapoor revealed how his parent's fights affected him badly

In a recent interview with entrepreneur Nikhil Kamath on his YouTube channel, Ranbir Kapoor spoke his heart out about his parent's fights and not receiving extra money while studying abroad. He said that his father took away his car upon his return to India. Ranbir described his father as short-tempered but a good man who loved his family. Ranbir said that his father was quite open about his thoughts. Ranbir revealed that he was scared of his father's eyes and always bowed down and agreed to everything. He even said that Rishi's volatile temperament made him anxious.

Ranbir also spoke about dealing with his parents' troubled relationship when his sister moved abroad for studies. He said that any loud noise disturbs him due to this past. He said that during his childhood he used to sit on the staircases and listen to the arguments which left him scared. He even said that due to this he felt a sense of responsibility. He even said that his parents eventually reconciled and grew closer after Rishi was diagnosed with cancer. Neetu took care of him and Ranbir did not imagine that level of love at that time.
