In an interview with Pinkvilla, Shivangi was shown a few old pictures with her co-actors and childhood photos. She was asked to share her memory of the picture. Shivangi was shown her picture with Hina Khan from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai days. Shivangi shared her working experience with her. She quipped 'mumma' and said that she remembered they had a gift segment in the first week of the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai when she took a selfie with Hina Di.

She even spoke about Hina's health and shared an update with all the fans. She said that she is in touch with her and they spoke yesterday. Shivangi said that Hina is strong and is a fighter. She also said that Hina would be fine soon and they were all praying for her. The Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka actress said that she was supposed to meet Hina on the day of this interview, but could not go. She said that she would meet her soon and also urged everyone to pray for Hina's speedy recovery.
