Recently, a report stated that Akshay wouldn't release his movie on Independence Day anymore. The report was published after the Stree 2 trailer released, which received a great response. However, Akshay Kumar has confirmed that the game is on, as he is ready for the biggest box office clash of this year. Khel Khel Mein is confirmed to be releasing in theatres on August 15th, 2024.
The Hera Pheri star announced the movie's release date with the film's motion poster which features the ensemble cast. In the caption, the actor wrote, "Yaaron waala khel Yaari waali picture! Band Baaje ke mahaul mein Band Bajaane waali picture! Say 'hello' to the biggest family entertainer of the year! Khel Khel Mein releasing in cinemas on 15th August 2024."
Along with Khel Khel Mein and Stree 2, John Abraham's Vedaa is also going to release in theatres on August 15th, 2024. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the film also stars Sharvari. What's interesting is that there are reports of Akshay having a cameo in Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's horror-comedy. If that's true, the audience will get to see the actor in two movies on the Independence day. After a long time, there has been a clash of this level in Bollywood. So it would be interesting to see the response every movie gets.
