Mirzapur 3 star Harshita Gaur aka Dimpy Pandit talks about her depression phase; reveals losing 7 kgs
Mirzapur 3 is among the most popular web series. All the characters have managed to find their fan bases. Kaleen Bhaiyya, Guddu Bhaiyya, Golu and others are the most popular ones. Even Dimpy Pandit is a name known to all the Mirzapur fans. The character is played by Harshita Gaur. She is Guddu and Bablu's Pandit's sister. She has nothing to do with the gang war but is among the most affected ones. In Mirzapur 3, we see her partner getting killed due to the gang war. In a recent interview Harshita Gaur opened up about her life and spoke about the phase when she was in depression.

In an interview with Brut., Harshita Gaur spoke about her journey in Mumbai. She recalled the time of 2017 when she arrived in Mumbai and stated that for two and a half years, she worked daily for 14 to 20 years. However, once that phase came to an end, she did not know what to do in Mumbai. She thought that her show has worked well so she would get calls from Dharma and YRF for future projects. However, that did not happen. For a few months, she did not get any work. Harshita revealed that there was a time when she did not leave the house for almost four days and she would cry all day. She used to pretend to be fine at home but she used to cry. Harshita added that people did not talk much about mental health back then like they do now. She added that all that she did was sit at home and cry.

Harshita Gaur added that it was her neighbour who then showed up and spoke to her. The neighbour had a spare key and when Harshita did not leave the house, she arrived to check on her. Harshita also stated that she lost almost 7 to 8 kilos during this phase. She then did a workshop that worked as a therapy for her. Harshita added that her mother also then stayed with her for a month.
