Magdalena Grono to replace Toivo Klaar as Special Rep for South  Caucasus

ArmInfo.The European Union's Political and Security Commission has approved the candidacy of Magdalena Grono for the post of special representative for the the South Caucasus and Georgia. She will replace Toivo Klaar, the Czech permanent representation to the EU said.

"Political and Security Committee PSC just confirmed the appointment of Magdalena Grono as Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Georgia. The nomination will be formally confirmed by the Council of the EU," the Czech mission's X post reads. 

In May, Grono was appointed chief diplomatic adviser to European Council President Charles Michel.  Before that, she served as senior foreign policy adviser to European Council President Charles Michel.
