Pushpa 2: The Rule is one of 2024's most anticipated releases. The Telugu action thriller is a sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa 2: The Rise. Directed by Sukumar, the film stars Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The original plan was for Arjun and Rashmika's film to hit theatres on August 15, 2024. Earlier, there were reports that one of the prominent cast members couldn't give dates for Pushpa 2's shooting; hence, the shooting has come to a halt. Later, there was speculation that actor Allu Arjun and director Sukumar had differences. The reports stated that, due to these issues, the shooting of the Telugu actioner came to a halt. Furthermore, the fallout reports revealed that Allu Arjun was so enraged that he chopped off his beard, further delaying the filming process. This, in turn, fueled another rumour suggesting the movie will release in 2025. Well, it looks like that's not the case.

A report by OTT Play mentions that as the shooting of Pushpa 2: The Rule got delayed, Allu Arjun went to Norway for a special event. The actor will resume the shooting once he's back. There is no further delay in the release of his film with Rashmika Mandanna has not been delayed further. A source close to the production also mentions that the reports of conflicts between Arjun and Sukumar are untrue. Everything is going the way it has been planned for the movie.

Now, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna fans can stop worrying, as things are not bad at all. Soon, the team will resume shooting for the sequel to one of the most loved Telugu movies.

Along with Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, Pushpa 2 also stars Fahadh Faasil, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwal, and Rao Ramesh. Miroslaw Kuba Brozek is the cinematographer, and Naveen Nooli is the editor. Similar to the first movie, Devi Sri Prasad, also known as DSP, composed the music. So far, two tracks from the movie called Pushpa Anthem and Sooseki are out and have received a positive response. The movie will hit theatres on December 6, 2024.
