Oklahoma Republican Senator Markwayne Mullin joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on the unique yet relatable story of former President Trump’s running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance.

“I mean, you got a guy that grew up in a  very dysfunctional home with addiction issues, and he saw something bigger and wanted something more and put himself through Ohio State and then, obviously went to Marine Corps for four years and went to Ohio State, then went to Yale Law School, and, had a successful company and then ran for Senate. He’s a guy that’s overcome. That’s a success story, right? That’s what America is all about. Don’t tell me I can’t accomplish something,. The only reason why you’re not accomplishing it is because you didn’t want it bad enough. You came up with an excuse why you couldn’t achieve it. Rather than coming and finding a path forward. And you know, that tells your story. That tells my story. That tells JD”s story, that tell so many Americans, people out there, they can relate to that story. And so I feel like that is his strength, and he will lean on it.”
