This configuration, along with the combined capacity of both tanks, translates to a claimed riding range of approximately 330 kilometers. conveniently, a common filler cap simplifies refueling.
Powering the Freedom is a 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine churning out 9.5bhp and 9.7Nm of torque, mated to a five-speed gearbox. While function takes precedence over form in the design, the Freedom still manages to stand out. The top variants boast an LED headlight, a distinctive dirt bike-inspired fuel tank, an extra-long seat (claimed by Bajaj to be the segment leader), and a sleek tail section. Additionally, the digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity adds a touch of modern convenience. The Bajaj Freedom comes in variants, with the top model weighing in at an estimated 147 kg.
The Bajaj Freedom has the potential to revolutionize economical and eco-friendly commuting. With bookings now open on both the Bajaj website and dealerships, the market’s response to this pioneering motorcycle will be keenly watched.
