Golden Apricot presents programme as part of cooperation with foreign embassies, international organizations
ArmInfo. The International Film Festival "Golden Apricot" continues close cooperation with foreign embassies and international organizations.
In particular, within the framework of cooperation with the French Embassy in Armenia and the French Institute at the Golden Apricot film festival, Yerevan audiences will be able to enjoy a selection of the latest French films. According to the press service of the film festival, the film by Bertrand Bonello "The Beast", David Boaretto "April in France", Alexis Pazumyan "Black Garden", Katya Kirakosyan "Misak and Meline Manushyan" will be shown in Yerevan. And on July 10, as part of the traditional event "French Cinema Day", Yerevan viewers will have the opportunity to watch the documentary film "Dahomey" by the French-Senegalese actress and director Mati Diop, which was awarded the "Golden Bear" at the Berlin Film Festival.
Thanks to cooperation with the embassy and the French Institute, writer, philosopher, literary critic Grigor Pltyan (as a jury member) and directors David Boaretto, Alexis Pazumyan and Katya Kirakosyan will come to Yerevan for the Golden Apricot.
Together with the Goethe Center in Yerevan, the "Made in Germany" program will be implemented. In particular, as part of the "Yerevan Premieres", the film by Andreas Dresen "From Hilda with Love", Severin Fiala and Veronica Franz "Devil's Bath", Victor Kosakovsky "Architecton", Aviva Barkhudaryan "Vigen, Berdin and the Cold War" will be shown.
In addition, films by Noaz Deshe , Faraz Fesharaki , Nafis Fatollahzadeh are included in the international and regional competition.
As in previous years, the Royal Netherlands Embassy will also support the publication of a daily festival newspaper this year.
This year "Golden Apricot" will be held in Yerevan from July 7 to 14 and will be dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Sergei Parajanov and Charles Aznavour. The opening will take place at the SKK named after. K. Demirchyan. Film screenings at the House of Cinema and the Moscow Cinema. The festival's guest of honor is the outstanding Hollywood actor, two-time Oscar winner Kevin Spacey.
