However, Sidharth Malhotra is currently in the news because of a fan. One of the fans of the actor got duped of Rs 50 lakh. Sadly, it was by using his name.

As per the reports, a US-based fan of Sidharth named Minoo allegedly claimed that a fan page of the actor carried out a big scam and duped him of Rs 50 lakh. Fabricated stories were creating stating that Kiara Advani is posing as a threat to Sidharth's life and Minoo paid the money to get the inside information. She got scammed of Rs 50 lakh. Now, Sidharth Malhotra has reacted to the same.

The Shershaah actor wrote a note on social media and asked all his fans to be careful. He started off by writing that the fraudulent activities and scams being carried out on his name have been brought to his notice. He added that he or his family members are not related to any of these people. He further added "I want to assure you that neither I, nor any member of my family nor any of my supporters are involved in such activity on social media. If you come in contact with any such fraud, then complain about it and do not let any kind of false information spread." He then spoke about his fans and called them his biggest strength.
