ArmInfo. According to the relevant agreements, the delimitation and border security commissions of  Armenia and Azerbaijan are working to agree on a draft regulation on the joint activities of the state commission for demarcation of the state border and border security of the Republic of Armenia and the  state commission for demarcation of the state border and border security of the Republic of Azerbaijan, reported RA Vice-Premier Mher Grigoryan's office.

"As of July 1, 2024, the commissions routinely handed over draft  regulations to each other and held a number of discussions.  Negotiations continue in a constructive manner. It is planned to  complete the approval process in the near future," the message says.

On April 19, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, following the  results of the eighth meeting of state commissions, Armenia and  Azerbaijan agreed to begin delimitation from the Tavush region and by  July 1 to complete the approval of the draft regulations on the joint  activities of delimitation commissions. Since the evening of the same  day, residents of the border villages of Tavush, dissatisfied with  the agreements between Yerevan and Baku, held protests, which  ultimately resulted in the "Tavush in the name of the Motherland"  movement. According to the decision of the commissions, Azerbaijan  will have to receive two houses, a bridge, a section of the road  towards Georgia and about 50 land plots
