French PM presents Legion of Honor to Rene Levonian

ArmInfo. French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal presented the Legion of Honor to Rene Levonian.

"It was a great pleasure to participate in the ceremony of awarding  the Legion of Honor to Rene Levonian, Pastor of the Armenian  Evangelical Church of France, President of the Association of  Evangelical Churches of French-speaking Countries, at the Matignon  Palace by Prime Minister Gabriel Attal.

I cordially congratulate the pastor on this high award, which rewards  his exceptional commitment to Armenian-French friendship," Armenian  Ambassador to France Hasmik Tolmajian wrote on her Twitter microblog.

In addition, as reported by French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier  Decottignies , a Military Ceremony was held at the Arc de Triomphe on  June 15. "The Armenian flag was next to the French flag, in the  center of Paris and in the hearts of the French," he wrote.
