In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Anurag Kashyap mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan are the most cost conscious as all three of them don't charge fees. The filmmaker was quoted saying, "Main bade actors ke saath kaam nahi karta, lekin sabse jyada cost conscious industry mein humare teen bade stars hai- Shah Rukh, Salman aur Aamir. Teeno fees nahi lete film mein. Wo har film backend lete hai. Unki koi film costly nahi hoti." The top three Khans major work in profit-sharing basis model. Which means that they won't take fees but earn money from the profits made by the film. Shah Rukh Khan who had Pathaan, Dunki and Jawan releasing in 2023, earned massively as the films did tremendously well at the box office. Salman Khan's last film was Tiger 3 that became a decent hit. Aamir Khan has been suffering at the box office as his last film Laal Singh Chaddha turned out to be a box office dude.
