Shah Rukh Khan smoked endless cigarettes on the sets of Koyla, reveals co-star

Shah Rukh Khan is one of the biggest superstars in the industry, millions are inspired by the Jawan star and want to become like him. But there is one habit of the superstar that many refrain from accepting and want him to even quit and if you are an ardent fan of Shah Rukh Khan, you will know what are we talking about. The superstars have always admitted to having this unhealthy habit of smoking. And it is reported that over the years he has even controlled it. But there was a time when he was labelled as a chain smoker by his co-actors. One such co-actor is Pradeep Rawat who shared screen with the Pathan's actor in Koyla.

Rakesh Roshan's directorial Koyla is one of the cult films of Shah Rukh Khan. Sharing one of the anecdotes from the sets of the film, Pradeep Rawat revealed how Shah Rukh Khan smoked multiple cigarettes on the sets of Koyla and called him a chain smoker,"

Speaking to Siddharth Kannan in an interview, Pradeep Rawat revealed that he wasn't that close to King Khan but one thing he noticed about him his smoking endless cigarettes, "I wasn't close to Shah Rukh during the shooting, but he was always well-mannered and a wonderful person. One thing I remember vividly is that I haven't seen any other actor smoke as much as he did. He would light a cigarette, use it to light another, and then light yet another one. He was a true chain smoker. Nonetheless, his dedication to the film was undeniable."

In the same interview Pradeep Rawat revealed Hrithik Roshan was an assistant director on the sets of his father's film Koyla and used to bring script for Johnny Lever.
