Janhvi Kapoor in a conversation with Karan Johar on An Imperfectly Perfect Chat was asked about the objectification that she has to deal with being a public figure. To this, the actress shared that she has been facing and navigating the issue for a long time. Janhvi revealed that the first time she feels s**ulaised by the media was when she was just 12 or 13. She recalled going to an event along with her mother Sridevi. The media took the pictures and social media was just in the phase of booming. The actress shared that she found her pictures on what 'seemed like a p*ornographic site'. She suffered as in school, the boys were looking at it and laughing. She further also speaks about girls facing character assassination over how they are dressed.
