Armenian citizens gather in various parts of Yerevan to march to Republic Square
ArmInfo. As of 2:30 p.m., Armenian citizens are gathering in various parts of the city to march to Republic Square, where a national rally starts at 4:00 p.m.
In particular, residents of Arart, Vayots Dzor and Syunik regions began to gather on the station square near the Statue of David of Sassoun. According to one of the participants in the action, the importance of today's rally should concern all citizens of the country, which under the current rulers is heading towards self-destruction. "We don't want this. We have always been instilled with the idea that by losing Artsakh, we are saving Armenia, but we all see that a serious danger looms over all of us. I believe that in the end, it will be possible to achieve success not only for our country, but also to return Artsakh, I do not lose this hope," she said.
Another participant in the action called on all citizens of the country to forget about their everyday problems and join the movement to save their homeland.
The entire station area and the adjacent streets are cordoned off by reinforced police squads, and traffic has been stopped. Today's rally is being held on the initiative of the "Tavush for the Motherland" movement.
