Volkswagen Partners with Government e-Marketplace

Volkswagen has forged a partnership with Government e Marketplace (GeM) to offer its premium range of vehicles to government departments.

This collaboration aims to make Volkswagen’s German-engineered, GNCAP 5-star rated cars more accessible to government entities across India.

Government e Marketplace (GeM) serves as a centralized platform established by the Government of India for efficient procurement of goods and services by government departments. Through GeM, government agencies can get Volkswagen’s GNCAP 5-star rated cars in a streamlined manner.

Range of Volkswagen Cars Available on GeM

Select variants of Volkswagen Taigun, and the midsize sedan, the Virtus, will be available for purchase on GeM. These vehicles offer both 5-star safety and performance, meeting the standards set by GNCAP.
