Director Prashanth Neel, whose last release, Salaar, received rave reviews and phenomenal success at the box office, has finally shared a big update about when KGF 3 will most likely go on floors.

Yash starrer KGF 3 to soon go on floors?

In a recent interview session, south director Prashanth Neel shed light on the status of KGF 3. The director states that KGF 3 will definitely happen. The reason KGF 2 was made is that the makers already had a story about KGF 3 in mind. Prashanth stated that currently the story is near completion. However, the production of the film will begin only once Yash wraps up his current projects, which mainly includes his upcoming film Toxic. The director further mentioned that as of now, he has taken a break from the franchise of KGF 3 as his entire focus is now on Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran's Salaar 2. Prashanth states that Salaar 2 will soon go on floors.

Talking about the KGF franchise, the Kannada language action film's first part was released in the year 2018. Yash, although a known name in the Kannada film industry, became a massive rage after the release of KGF. The first installment was made on a budget of 80 crores, and the box office collection total was around 250 crores. KGF 2, which was released in the year 2022, was a real game-changer as the film made on a budget of 100 crores ended up making more than 1000 crores worldwide at the box office. It was the biggest hit from the Kannada film industry. The film also successfully broke many box office records of Bollywood films.
