Kartik Aaryan's Chandu Champion gets a big relief from Prabhas, Deepika Padukone's Kalki 2898 AD; Here's how

Kartik Aaryan starrer Chandu Champion is one of the most awaited films of the year. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film is a sports biographical drama. This would be the first time the Bhool Bhulaiya 2 actor will be venturing into the biography genre. However, while the makers are confident about the content and are happy with the way the film has shaped out, they were a bit apprehensive as the film was apparently clashing with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer magnum opus Kalki 2898 AD. Both Chandu Champion and Kalki 2898 AD were supposed to release on 14th June 2024. However, as per the latest updates, while Kartik's film will release on 14th June 2024, Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD will now release on 27th June 2024.

Yes, you heard it right. The above news comes as a big relief for Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan. With Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer release date being postponed, Chandu Champion gets a window of 13 days at the box office to transfix more cash. Kalki 2898 AD is certainly the biggest film of the year. Be it the star cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, or the magnificent story, people have really been waiting for the film's release. While Chandu Champion has got a big relief from Kalki 2898 AD, it still has to compete with Kangana Ranaut's Emergency, which will also be released on the same date, which is 14th June 2024.

With films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Satyaprem ki katha, Kartik Aaryan has had a good run at the box office. However, it would be interesting to see if Chandu Champion will also receive the same love. For starters, Kabir Khan's last sports biographical drama 83 was a box office debacle.
