Amidst all this, a throwback interview of Gaurav Khanna has gone viral where he is seen speaking about his bond with Rupali. He spoke to Telly Masala earlier and said that it is his first show with Rupali. He recalled Rupali's hilarious reaction on their first meet.
He said that when he went for a look test on the sets of Anupamaa, he had to wait for 2-3 hours as Rupali was busy with her scenes. He didn't knew anyone on the sets and Rupali was very warm and welcoming. He remembered that when she first saw him, she said, "Yeh toh mera beta lag raha hai."
Gaurav said he laughed so much and then thanked her. He then told her that he has come for Anuj Kapadia's role who is definitely not Anupamaa's son. He said that they keep laughing about this conversation many times.
