Not a single door in Armenia can be closed to a clergyman - Vahe Hovhannisyan

ArmInfo. Not a single door in Armenia can be closed to a clergyman, said Vahe Hovhannisyan of the Alternative Projects Group.
The expert stated that since May 2, a completely new situation has developed in Armenia. "This is not about Kirants, not about police brutality, not even about planting trees in front of an Armenian school, which, according to the Armenian prime minister, supposedly should protect our children from Azerbaijanis (life has shown that in case of political mistakes, even Mount Mrav and the inaccessible heights of Shushi can be protected impossible).
The question is the future life of Armenia, all of us, the future of our cities and villages, the future of our families. ONE man decided that if he was surrounded by police, he had the right to decide the fate of everyone. That's the question," Hovhannisyan noted.
The expert stated that in this new reality, the hope of many people is priest Bagrat Galstanyan, and, of course, he earned this right with his behavior befitting a clergyman.
At the same time, the political scientist is sure that this does not mean at all that Armenian society should observe what is happening in the country as an outsider who came to the film and wait for what the main character will do, what will happen in the next episode.
"If we behave this way, then I'll say right away - what happened in Artsakh will happen. Don't expect an encouraging answer. If any citizen or force wants to behave like an observer-television viewer, let him keep in mind that everything that happens is not cinema is our life.
In the newly created reality, Bagrat Galstanyan's priority should be his peaceful meetings with different people. In Armenia, not a single door can be closed to a priest; he can go to universities, creative unions, the National Assembly, parties, factions, television companies, concert halls, cafes, and walk the streets of our cities. "All this is peaceful and quiet, under the growing slogan of truth and inner peace," Hovhannisyan expressed his conviction. At the same time, he is confident that the task of society in this situation is to organize these meetings and unlock these doors from the inside.
"I repeat: not a single door in Armenia can be closed to a clergyman. And if technically someone locks the door, then we should not break it down like a hyena, like the famous door of the radio house, but open it with calm, peaceful words, because the goals were different: then - power, now - salvation. All internal doors must be open for reasonable speech, because one person single-handedly opened all the doors of our country to the enemy. He opened the gates of our fortress," the expert added.
At the same time, he is confident that the topic of an open conversation with society should be a description of tomorrow, as we imagine the nearest tomorrow.
"Among these topics: firstly, the formation in the near future of a new "fully capable" government. This opportunity should be given to people who have the ability, desire to work and take responsibility, regardless of party or other affiliation.
Secondly, note that an atmosphere of internal reconciliation based on the principle of justice will reign in the country. Thirdly, the public administration system and the civil servant system will continue to operate steadily.
Fourth, Armenia is committed to continuing peace negotiations with Azerbaijan and Turkey with the goal of establishing a stable and real peace.
Fifthly, Armenia announces a policy of de-escalation at the borders and within the country. Armenia is entering a stage of post-war development, which presupposes a new fair morality, the concept of forming a new modern state," says a member of the Group of Alternative Projects.
