Normal skills including Stacking and Ruin skills

The latest addition to the Lost Ark's ever-expanding class roster Lost Ark Gold will be released on the 20th of July, this time in the form of an entirely new class that is of the mage type and the card-slinging Arcanist.

A blog post by Lost Ark's Western publisher Amazon details how the new class is used ahead of The game's update in July. The Arcanist revolves around imbuing the set of decks of cards powerful magic that can inflict damage on enemies Gambit-style. Arcanist skills come in three distinct varieties: Normal skills including Stacking and Ruin skills. Normal abilities aren't fancy however they do deal damage and help build a specific Card Deck meter. Ruin and Stacking abilities, however, are what make the Arcanist make a mark. Skills that stack will create four stacks on an opponent's target. When a Ruin skill strikes that location, stacks are consumed, creating the potential for massive destruction.

The Arcanist's specialty skill known as Card Deck permits her draws random playing cards using a deck, which can be used to achieve numerous effects which range from providing an enhanced attack speed to making every attack have a greater chance of being a critical strike. The players can keep two cards drawn at a time to be utilized as they see it appropriate, creating potentially deadly combos.

Two major class engravings are available for players to choose from. Order of the Emperor places an emphasis on Normal skills as well as cards. It also improves the Deck mechanic by giving Normal attacks additional damage and Card Deck building up meter. The class also adds a powerful card, the Emperor to the deck of an Arcanist.
