Grain mostly lower, livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was up 3.50 cents to $4.6650 a bushel; May corn rose 2.50 cents to 3.6950 a bushel; May oats gained 2.75 cents to 1.9075 a bushel; while May soybeans were advanced 4.50 cents at $9.02 a bushel.
Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. April live cattle was down 1.47 cents to $1.3835 a pound; March feeder cattle lost .85 cent to $1.6237 a pound; while April lean hogs was off 2.10 cents at $.6935 a pound.
