Discovery of prehistoric massacre may point to origins of human warfare

The 10,000-year-old bones bear the blunt marks of a violent death. The prehistoric massacre unearthed in Kenya, is the first sign of intergroup violence to have been discovered in a nomadic hunter-gatherer society, according to researchers from Cambridge University and the Turkana Basin Institute who published their findings in the journal Nature Wednesday.
