Activist opposes elevated road along Hindon in NGT

A Ghaziabad-based environmentalist has filed a plea before the National Green Tribunal against construction of elevated road from UP Gate on NH-24 to Raj Nagar Extension, saying the ongoing work is polluting the Hindon and the corridor encroaches the land earmarked for Hindon Bird Sanctuary.
