Traffic to be restricted on several streets in Almaty

Tengrinews.kz — Traffic will be restricted on several streets in Almaty.
Zhandosov Street
Due to the works, temporary traffic restrictions will be introduced on Zhandosov Street from Dauletkerey Street to the city limits from 8:00 p.m. on July 21 until 6:00 a.m. on August 1.

Reversible traffic will be organized on the section from Dauletkerey Street to the city limits.
Drivers were asked to be understanding of the temporary inconvenience. It was also added that the work schedule may be adjusted depending on weather conditions.

2nd Goncharnaya Street
Restrictions will also affect 2nd Goncharnaya Street. Preparatory work for the heating season will be carried out on the section from the Phthisiopulmonology Center of the Public Health Department to building No. 223e/4 and further to Raiymbek Avenue.
In this regard, vehicle traffic will be restricted from July 23, 2026.
At the moment, the following streets are closed in Almaty:

From July 13, vehicle traffic is restricted on Snegin Street on the section between Mendikulov Boulevard and Dostyk Avenue in the Samal-2 microdistrict. The reason is pipeline replacement.
From July 17 to August 30, traffic will be temporarily restricted on Bekeshev Street, on the section from Abdildin Street to Belzhailau Street. The reason is the construction of a sewage collector.
