Kazakhstan has gained another ally in the Arab world – political observer
Tengrinews.kz – Political analyst Gaziz Abishev, commenting on Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's visit to Jordan, stated that Kazakhstan has gained another ally in the Arab world.
As Abishev wrote on his Telegram channel, both sides took Tokayev's visit to Jordan seriously.
“They discussed joint uranium mining, interregional logistics, and cooperation in the information sector,” the analyst noted.
According to him, Jordan is one of the most significant countries in the Middle East, pursuing a balanced policy. It holds an important position in the Arab world and maintains good relations with Israel and the United States.
“King Abdullah is a respected politician who has repeatedly proven both his wisdom and his commitment to his country’s sovereignty. He is considered a direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad. He recently visited Washington, where he discussed a number of key regional issues with President Trump,” Abishev wrote.
“Constructive relations are being established between Astana and Amman. Another ally for Kazakhstan among Arab states that play a crucial role in continental and global geopolitics and geoeconomics,” the political analyst concluded.
Tokayev’s official visit to Jordan concluded on February 19. During the visit, the President of Kazakhstan held talks with King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan. The parties signed 10 intergovernmental and commercial agreements.
