Foreign visitors in Kazakhstan receive QR code cards with essential information

Tengrinews.kz - Foreign nationals arriving in Kazakhstan are now being issued QR-coded cards that link to a multilingual online portal with important information and safety recommendations for tourists, according to Polisia.kz.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to enhance the safety of incoming tourists. Each foreign visitor can receive a special QR-coded card upon entering the country, including during border control procedures. The code directs users to the online multilingual portal SafeTravel.kz.
The portal provides important information and guidelines for safe travel in Kazakhstan, along with links to useful mobile applications.
The first QR-coded cards have already been distributed to foreign guests at the capital's international airport.

A city map with links to popular navigation apps.
A list of official taxis and online transport services to ensure safe travel.

Contact information for other emergency services, including medical assistance, fire departments, and the national rescue service.
